Mid Term Report Card

Not as flash as Jon at PWJ or Mark at 1866 and All That - but here is a count of what I have "achieved" thus far in the hobby year.

Figures Painted (approximate numbers)

120 x 15 mm WWII British infantry

4 x 15mm WWII 25lb guns and crew, plus command, observers and a Bren Gun Carrier

38 x 28mm Napoleonic Cavalry

24 x 28mm GNW Russian Cavalry

72 x 28mm GNW Russian Infantry

22 x 28mm ECW Infantry

60 x 20mm SCW Infantry

10 x 20mm Civilians

10 x 20mm Chetniks

5 x 28mm Last of the Mohicans Characters

6 x 20mm Vehicles

SCW Trench System and Buildings (scratch built)

As for games played, here they are:

WWII, Solo SCW, WWII x 2, ACW x 2, SCW, ACW, Beneath Lilly Banners Solo x 3. Peninsula. War of 1812 solo, NWF Colonial, Wild West skirmish, SCW, Crimean War.

With our mate Julian back in country after a 6–8-week sojourn in Europe, gaming should hopefully increase again - two games are planned over three days this weekend - Friday at Julian's and Sunday at Barry's - which I am really looking forward to.

Next post will likely be Saturday with an AAR on the Friday night game - I love it when a plan comes together!

Sorry, no pics tonight, I don't do pie charts or graphs via XL!

Thanks for your visit and if you feel sufficiently moved by these lists, please do leave your feedback!

  1. A goodly sum with a good variety of both painted and played - I don’t remember the Napoleonic Cavalry, so will dip back into that now.

  4. I’m hanging my head in shame. Man I wish I could produce that quantity and quality of miniatures in the same time frame. Well done mate.

    1. Excellent - that was exactly the sort of inner torment I was hoping to engender, JBM - its called "tough motivation" - I am sure you remember it from your days in the TA! (I am joking, of course........or, am I!?)

    1. It will never be as much as you Mark - you would have to take a three-month sabbatical in Europe for me to come close!

    1. Cheers Steve....you have been hors de combat for a while with a nearly amputated finger, so you have a good excuse for a lower productivity count! Looking forward to seeing you pick up the pace again....

  17. One day I shall return to such glorious numbers in my hobby!

(Okay... that was a fib, I've NEVER been as productive as you or Jon for that matter, even when I had more time.)

An impressive tally though Keith and very fun to follow along with here. Let's see some more so your year's end totals can make a grown man cry.
