War of 1812 Figure Examples

Here are a number of images of the Old Glory figures I received today. Each pack of 30 contains a number of each pose shown - officers etc 2 each per pack and the others generally 4-6 of each pose.

Pack One - the British Royal Marines - two of each officer and drummer and the remaining 26 figures a combination of these four poses

Pack Two - Glengarry Light Infantry. There are two of each of the above "command" figures

The rest of the Glengarry pack comprises a mixture of these four poses

Pack Three - Canadian Volitiguers. Two each of the officer and bugler, whilst here are around four or five of the other pose

The remainder of the Canadian Volitiguer poses

Pack Four - US Artillery in shakos - These are all the poses supplied in the twenty part pack -
three of the left hand figure, three of the next, five with the rammer, three with the bucket and three each of the last crewman and the officer types. A bit odd there are not four officers but no real problem - either four five figure crews or five four figure crews.

Pack Five - US Regular riflemen in full kit - above are all the figures that come in this pack - only four infantry variations plus two each of the officer and bugler

Pack Six - US Command in Leather Shako  - there are two of each of the above figures

Pack Six - US Command in Leather Shako  - two sergeants, one pioneer and two each of the drummers complete this pack. I also got the same pack but in Felt Shakos but the poses look identical so did not bother to photograph them

Pack Seven (or Eight!) US regular infantry in Leather shako advancing - pack of thirty figures comprising six of each of the above poses

Pack Eight - US regular infantry in Felt shako advancing - pack of thirty figures comprising six of each of the above poses. As the poses are different from the previous pack, I took photos of these as well

Pack Nine - US Light Dragoons -above is the officer and bugler

There are two of the pistol firing pose, plus one guidon bearer

The rest of the ten figure pack is made up of these two poses - all the horses are unique.

Soooo...quite a bit of painting lies ahead it seems. Mind you, this is probably about 80% of the total force I will end up building, as at least two other members of our group will also be contributing to this era and the battles were generally quite small scale anyway.
