RCW And Some Other Figures Completed This Week

Unfortunately I have missed out on a game at Julian's tonight as we had a friend visiting from out of town, so in lieu of a game report, here are some images of the latest work to come off the painting desk.

The first three images are the final three Bolshevik riflemen, followed by the two Lewis gunners, one of which is in a prone firing position and thus based individually.

Following these, we have two more Black Scorpion gunfighters, then two mounted western ladies by Old Glory, and finally a miner/prospector and his mule, an Old Glory figure of the month I got with their Army card ten plus years ago. The latter three figures have been in my very modest lead pile waiting to be painted for quite some time!

Another Batch of Gunfighters Completed

I have been plugging away at the lady gunfighters the last few days, as well as working on the last few Copplestone Bolsheviks I purchased a couple of weeks back. After that, it's going to be back to two battalions of Napoleonic Portuguese.....I am just considering keeping the last half a dozen ladies in reserve, so I can do one of them every now and again, to break up the production line feel of all those Portuguese!

Anyway, below in the following order are

The newly arrived Knuckleduster additions, a size comparison between Knuckleduster and Black Scorpion, the recently completed Black Scorpion figures, then two images from the 2006 movie "Bandidas" starring Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayak, which I believe may be the inspiration for the next two figure...Knuckleduster on the left and Black Scorpion on the right....what do you think? Finally, a couple of the character cards that came with the Knuckleduster figures, for use with their western gunfight rules "Gunfighters Ball"

Game Two of 2020

I will just attempt to post the images without descriptions as I have just literally spent TWO #%**! hours on this ##**! iPad writing a nice description of the game and listing what all the pictures are....and then the #£#*! thing locked up and I could not add or subtract anything...and just to top it off, when I was deleting all the previous drafts that have accumulated for similar reasons, I seem to have accidentally deleted the last post about the Mexican Bandida...aarghhh! (Things seem to have gone better this time, so I added three images of the gunfighter at the end ....)

Ok so we had a Napoleonic game, post Leipzig, the French were a rearguard and the allied Prussian, Russian and Austrian forces has to chase them of the table edge. Nick had his Calpe Prussians plus some of Marks, Julian had Marks a perry Russians and I had my own Austrians, mainly Sash and Sabre but cavalry by Old Glory.

I think we called the game as a French win because they held us up and got some troops off their end but I was happy with the game too, we all got some action and destroyed some French units, so it felt like a win win from my side.

I am not going to number and describe the images, that's when the problem occurred last time and to be honest it's just as well my wife is out as I usually restrict that level and intensity of swearing for business hours!
