More 28mm Soviets and Temu Terrain

I have finally finished off the second 45mm AT gun and crew

Once again, a mixture of colours were used on their uniforms

I also realized I missed painting the gun commanders chin strap....duh!

And just to test for scale match, here are part of the female 85mm AA crew trying out the 45 for size....not sure the shell would fit!

The rest of the images are of my third Temu 3d printed ruined building

The ground floor

The top floor, which I will possibly use as a second ground floor on occasions ....

The ground and second floors combined

Most of the "rubble " you can see is actual house bricks (ours!) ground down with a hammer until it is 10mm to 30mm scale!

Very happy with this piece again. I realise it is a bit fantasy/medieval...but I am sure there were plenty of buildings of that vintage still in use in Eastern and Central Europe in 1943 to 45, so I am happy to use them there! They may well also appear in Pulp games at some stage...

  1. Great looking Soviets, Keith. Those are some nice sculpt too - the sling on the rifle is a nice detail. Love the Eastern Front "mud" on the wheels too.

    1. Glad you like them Dean! 3d printing certainly has many advantages...detail like the sling being amongst them! In case you missed it, the gun plus three crew cost me NZ$12.....about US$8!

  2. Nice additions Keith. You must have quite a few Soviet AT guns by now if recollection serves.

    1. Cheers Lawrence...sorry to disappoint, but this is only my second Russian AT gun....more could be on the cards, however!

  3. Great additions, Keith to your collection of figures and terrain. Brick dust as texture, clever. Now for a game to use the new stuff.

    1. Thanks Joe. I am off to a Sunday game at Barry's this weekend, but no opportunity to use the new terrain there...maybe I will get a quick solo game in soon?

  4. Great looking fantasy/medieval building! The brick dust is helpful even if doing it was probably bad for your health!

    1. Cheers Richard...the chin strap isn't being worn...it is across the front edge of his helmet! All sorted now.

  6. I do love the Soviet 45mm ATG, which is a copy of the German Pak35/36, or vice versa, I can never remember which;)! The printed terrain works a treat and will be useful across a wide variety of settings I'm sure.

    1. Thanks Steve, the 45mm gun seems to have stayed in service throughout the war, so must have been reasonably effective, presumably.

  7. Nice work on the Russkies Keith, they look great and the mix of uniforms works well. More goodies from Temu and more very nice ones, they look great and ruins are always handy for the table top.
