As a reminder, I ordered this 3d printed terrain from Temu about a week ago, and it turned up on my doorstep today
Pack One the $9.72 set
Red Army officer to give idea of scale
Pack Two - the $12.23 set
Not sure how that happened, I was sure I took a picture of the third box!
Anyway, these are the contents, the $13.49 set
Here is the full collection in an A4 file box - the quality of these is very good, considering the whole lot cost about £15 or US$25! Now, all I need to do is slap some paint on them - and now I know this is the quality, I may look at getting some more pieces (although the choice is quite limited, to be honest - but there is a nice "mansion" and church for around $30 each that I might get next time!
Off to a 28mm early WW2 game tomorrow, so I expect I will have an AAR for you all in around 26 hours' time!
Result. Glad the TEMU thing worked out for you. They look great.
ReplyDeleteIt sure was JBM - I am very happy with these purchases!
DeleteThey look like decent terrain pieces, look forward to seeing them painted up
ReplyDeleteCheers Scotty - I am sure there is much better 3d terrain out there - but not at that price! Now, if the Chinese suppliers selling via Temu would just start printing off 28mm T34's for $10 each, I would be sorted!
DeleteI can't believe the whole lot cost about £15.00!!! Excellent quality and easy to kit bash pieces should you so wish. Personally I'd give them a wash first, even though they probably don't need it, but just to be sure the primer adheres well.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Steve - it's a pretty reasonable stash for the money, isn't it?! Funnily enough, before sitting down to check the blog, I just did give them all a wash with hot, soapy water! I usually do that with hard plastic figures and kits too, although I don't always remember!
DeleteThere are certainly some good scenarios ahead, made possible by the ruins in the order. A lot of scratch building time saved.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joe, I could never create anything this good scratch building, although unruined Russian huts and possibly city ruins are still on the scratch building cards!
DeleteLooking really, really great!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Michal - I think they are excellent terrain pieces!
DeleteGood looking 3d prints, great for the money! They would combine well with the foamboard type models we were discussing?
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thanks Iain! Funnily enough, Temu can even supply foam board and considerably less than a local store would do!
DeleteGreat looking purchases. They'll look good on the tabletop.
ReplyDeleteThanks Richard, yes, I think they will, as long as my painting is up to it!
DeleteThese look like very useful pieces for your adventure gaming. Great price too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jon, they are great pieces 👍
DeleteLook great quality Keith and at the price is beyond very reasonable, win win there.
ReplyDeleteThanks Donnie, yes and yes...very pleased with them!
DeleteWith the amount of 3D printed products you are purchasing I wonder if you are getting close to investing in a 3D printer? I have purchased a fair bit of Jens Najewitz Modellbau stuff and wish now I had bought a printer. I see he is now branching out into fantasy as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lawrence, I won't be getting a printer, I don't think. From what I have heard/read, you need at least a modicum of IT savvy (and possibly a fair bit) to get the settings right etc - its not like using a photocopier (unfortunately!) Also, the raw materials involved are quite nasty DG's by the sound of it, which it might be better NOT having in your internal access garage?!
DeleteIt is the constant false starts before you master what is going on that put me off. Like you, I'm happy to pay the extra for someone else to print it if I see something I like.
DeleteGreat investment Keith.
ReplyDeleteThe one with the stair case looks to be excellent. A great design for wargaming as it is easy to get into the lower floor -- even if the second floor is attached.
Thanks Ben - yes, I think that ruined building is the better quality of everything I bought, which is reflected in the price (even though it is still not a huge amount!)
DeleteThey do look pretty cool. Looking forward to see some paint on them.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ray, hopefully, you won't have to wait too long!
