Very Brief Post

As my ancient lap top just gave up the ghost, I am giving blogging via my phone a try.  Just a very short one though,  as I find using my phone a real pain in the proverbial!

Fellow  blogger Steve J offered me a single 28mm figure via a recent comment....what actually arrived was significantly more than that, as per above.

I will post about the contents soon.

Here are some recently completed figures.

First piece of the Temu scenery

One of the 3d printed 45mm anti tank guns and crew

82mm mortar (I think)

BA 10 armoured car

50mm mortar and crew

HMG and crew

And to finish off, a couple of flame throwers.

All these figures are from the excellent 3d printed figures I purchased recently

Seemed to work OK.....

    1. Thanks Scotty....after a lot of frustration and some bad language, we eventually managed to get me set up a user on another laptop....but maybe I will do the odd post on my phone going forward...it saves the faffing around of moving the photos from the phone to the laptop before posting.....

  10. You had me on the figures, great job painted up.
Now , the reveal tease, really is gonna have repercussions if you don't deliver.

  11. Looking good, Keith. That Soviet 45mm AT gun setup is particularly good. Has a very "forlorn hope" look to it.

    1. Thanks, Steve! Not sure if the "walls" of the gun position are high enough, but it will do for me...for now, anyway.

  13. nice work and the BA10 looks great Keith. I really dislike having to view stuff on my phone, let alone trying to write a blog post on it.

    1. LOL - thanks Lawrence - I think we must be of a similar age! I have just had lots of trouble and a fair amount of cursing to get myself logged back into Blogger on the "new" laptop. I have two gmail accounts, the login used to be on one that I can't log into anymore, I used the "forgot password" option, went around in circles, and have somehow finally managed to be logged back in to Blogger - but on the other gmail account! - so now, when I comment, it will be Keith instead of RROSS!

    1. Haha....yes, I thought that myself after I did it Mark! Interesting experience actually.....I am thinking in future, I may start the post on my phone, load all the pictures, then move to the laptop to do the text, as it will remove the need to swap all the images over to the laptop beforehand....

  17. Great work on those Russians Keith, with the mix of colours and clothing giving a nice, natural and combat worn look to the troops. I've seen clump foliage used for flamethrowers too, but it needs support or actually attaching to the figure, which is a bit of a faff!

    1. Thanks Steve. I was trying to find other ways of creating the flames ( I have a vague recollection of someone using pipe cleaners...if you can still buy such a thing!) but for the photo op, the cotton wool looks fine.
