This is the second of three T34/76 Warlord plastic kits currently in production on the painting desk. The third is nearing completion, to be followed by a KV (both 1 and 2, as the different turrets go with the same chassis) and finally, a fourth IS2.
I put a couple of the Pot Belly RKX 3d tank riders on it for the first two pics.
Once again, a few extra stowage items were added, and I managed to successfully attach the "slogan" decals too!
I think this one is called "Moscow"
The red banner decal on the turret indicates the vehicle belongs to a "Guards" unit.
Very pleased with how this one has turned out again. I should have the next one done in a couple of days, and in the meantime, I am busily creating more ruined buildings from cork tiles, so might have a couple of images of those for show and tell soon, too!
Thanks for your visit and comments are always appreciated
I do like those rider poses.
ReplyDeleteThanks Norm, they add a little something and are certainly iconic of the Red Army in the Great Patriotic War!
DeleteWay cool. Looking forward to seeing the cork tile houses. Sounds like a very nickable concept!
ReplyDeleteThanks JBM! If you want some building with cork tile inspiration, try looking at a blog called Makatashi Teahouse....that's where I nicked the idea from!

DeleteNice paintwork finish Keith.
ReplyDeleteCheers Chris.
DeleteGreat work Keith and those tank riders do look rather cool. The KV-2 is a bit of a classic 'beast of a tank' and certainly damned intimidating for those early war games! As for making stuff from cork tiles, I'm not sure if you've seen or know of the following:

Thanks Steve...as it's possible to have both the KV 1 & 2 in the collection by just building and painting both turrets, why wouldn't I?!
DeleteAs to cork building...yep, that's where I pinched the idea from!
Looking mighty fine, Keith!
ReplyDeleteThak you Ray.
DeleteNicely done Keith.
ReplyDeleteThanks Richard.
DeleteNice build!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Jon!
DeleteNice Job!
ReplyDeleteThank you Stew.
DeleteCracking job on the tank, the stowage and tank riders really add to the overall look, very nice.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it Donnie
DeleteOutstanding job on the tank and riders.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mark.
DeleteLike it! Dingy and dinged-up looking enough for Soviet service. Haven't seen those tank rider figs before - they are very nice.
ReplyDeleteCheers Dai, a bit bashed around is the look I was going for...glad you like the tank riders...they are 3d by RDX
DeleteAnother great looking T-34, Keith. I'm inclined to think their padded uniforms give them a robust appearance. 😀
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean, I like the padded uniforms too, they can fit into either summer or winter scenarios....
DeleteGreat looking tank!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michal!
DeleteAnother fine example of a T34. How many do you have completed in total now Keith, including these three?
