I have finally got something finished! It's not that I have been neglecting the paint desk.... far from it. I have all sorts of things half or three quarters done...but this is the first thing I have actually managed to complete....and no games for over a week, either!
Rather obviously, it is the first of the recently purchased T34/76 tanks.
The first one is built as the early 1940 version, as I particularly like the look of the large, single turret hatch.
The commander peeping around from behind the hatch is the standard plastic figure that comes with each kit.
I think he looks pretty good!
I did add a few of the extra metal stowage items that came in the box set.
Final shot is a comparison between the Warlord plastic kit on the left and the Pot Belly 3d printed on the right, minus the turrets...the 3d is a bit "chunkier", but not, to my eye at least, anything to worry about or prevent them appearing side by side on the table.

Very nice work Keith. Considering the different modes of construction between the Warlord one and the other one they look fine together…and I’m a real nit picker for slight scale differences. Top stuff.

DeleteVery nice work Keith and the extra detailing of the stowage etc works really well. As for the slight differences, I doubt very much you would notice them on the table top!
