I had meant to get a solo game in over the last few days but every time I thought about it, I thought I wanted to use the new 28mm ruined buildings, and then I thought they are not all finished yet, so instead of a game, I carried on the slow process of titivating them!
They are almost done now, but need some work on the recently added bases, so once again, not quite ready for a game (which I did actually set up around 7pm but then our son arrived home from a hunting trip and I felt obliged to stop and chat with him for a bit, then he was hauling dirty clothes etc through the garage where I was intending to play, and by the time he was all done, the moment had passed and I just took some photos of all the buildings and packed everything away again!)
So, here are some pics!
Looking more and more great sir!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michal,it's taking time, bur I am getting there!
DeleteGreat buildings there Keith. My planned solo games have not yet eventuated due to lack of time, so at least you are getting a few under your belt.
ReplyDeleteI am sure you will get there one day, Lawrence!
DeletePity you never had the chance to game as the set up looks great Keith.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the game will happen soon, Donnie!
DeleteThis shows a lot of devastation. Why are the backsides of all buildings blown out and never the street facing facades?
ReplyDeleteTo be fair to the designers, only 2 or 3 of the 8 buildings have a ground level door, so the rest could easily be a side or back wall, Jon.They are only orientated the way they are because I put them that way.
DeleteGood solution to the taking of building by building that the grind of city fighting demands.
ReplyDeleteThanks Norm....that is the plan....
DeleteThe ruined buildings look great and for a Stalingrad game you will always need more
ReplyDeleteThanks Scotty, and therein lies my dilemma.....how many of these are "enough"
DeleteImpressive amount of great looking terrain, Keith!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Dean.
DeleteYeah I reckon you could knock out a gazillion of these using cork tiles. Worth a go isn’t it?
ReplyDeleteProbably could JBM. But where the hell am I going to store them all??!
DeleteSome fab looking terrain, Keith!
ReplyDeleteThat looks great Keith. Not sure how many you would need to fill Barry's table but you would be building them for a long time! Maybe concentrate on building scatter terrain instead?
ReplyDeleteI think the small size will be fun to play on and provide lots of interesting action.
