WIP - Red October Tank Factory

 As alluded to in recent posts, I am still on a bit of a terrain building spree, using the ever trusty cork floor tiles as my medium.

Here are a few images of my 75% completed ruined factory for Stalingrad and similar locations. I will add in a few more exterior part walls plus a couple of internal ones to break things up a bit, as well as some "scatter" to fill up the inside of the building. 

I am not sure yet whether I will base these on mdf/hardboard or leave them as is - having them on fixed bases may mean they take up more storage space?

I took the first batch of pics after Monday nights game

I have made the parts "modular", so if I need a smaller building, I can just use the four corners

Or, I could have two partial buildings comprised of three parts each...

I have since created four extra parts that can be added to each end and along each side, plus a four way ruined wall for inside 

The last two images have some 28mm figures added, to give an idea of scale

Tonight, I pulled out a couple of the parts that I "enhanced" yesterday, courtesy of Google translate, "Paint" and our colour printer at work!

The name is "Red October Tank Factory"

A few propaganda posters added to the interior walls, aimed at motivating the workers to even greater efforts for the Motherland!

These were easy to source via Google searches, shrink down to size using Paint, then print out - I have a batch of German ones too for Berlin ruins - the only slight issue is, if I plaster the buildings with one sides posters or the others, it kind of limits their use - unless you just ignore it, of course!

Thats it for tonight - got a game on Sunday at Barry's and might even try and get another small solo in before that!
