Not many words but quite a few pics tonight. We had an extra day off work here because a couple of years ago, the government "Mondayised" the Anzac Day public holiday, meaning, when 25 April falls on Sat or Sun, we poor oppressed labouring masses get a day off on the following Monday - Urrah!
I did do other things over the three days, but I certainly got in a fair number of hours at the hobby desk on Sat Sun and Mon - and here are some of the results
The eight Warlord infantry that came with the 3 x T34/85 kit
Officer/forward observer
NCO directing the advance
Not sure how well this would work out for the guy operating the weapon platform!
Five "grunts" charging against the Fascist Occupiers
And here is one of the recent Pot Belly RKX 3d prints that arrived recently - SU100 assault gun - a 100mm gun mounted on the T34 chassis.
I jumped this one up the queue especially for Dai, who said he was looking forward to seeing it painted!
Here it is with some figures for scale - RKX tank riders from the same source on the rear
Behind the tank are from R-L 3d printed SMG gunner, 3d printed officer Wargames Factory hard plastic 28mm infantryman and 28mm Warlord hard plastic LMG gunner.
I am happy with how the eight new infantrymen turned out, and the SU100. Next time, it will probably be some more of the same ie WW2 Red Army.
Thanks for dropping in and for marking your visit with a comment - cheers!

They look really good Keith, really like the one with the Molotov Cocktail, cracking figure. Tank looks great and even better when the tank riders are added, really nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks Donnie - that is the second Molotov cocktail armed Soviet infantryman I have created from the Warlord kits - its one of their standard poses!
DeleteGreat looking infantry and smashing looking tank!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Cheers Iain, I am pleased you like them!
