Included in my recent order to Battle Honours was an outlier pack- six French Napoleonic Cantinieres or Vivandieres. Et voila!
As with the WW2 Russians, lovely figures with very crisp, fine detail
All six are in different styles of semi military attire
This could be my favourite!
I did like this one, too.
And to finish up this brief post, three size comparison shots alongside some Victrix French infantry
Victrix are particularly large plastic 28mm figures
But I think les demoiselles scale up pretty well alongside them?
A bientôt, mes amis!

Woooow! Excellent looking miniatures sir!
ReplyDeleteYou are most kind, Michal!
DeleteGreat sculpts there Keith, with a nice mix of military and civilian clothing. Lovely choice of colours too:). I'm sure they'll be very useful to build some scenarios around!
ReplyDeleteCheers Steve...they are very nice figures aren't they?
DeleteSuper looking figures and nicely painted, Keith.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot, Richard.
DeleteReally well thought out group of figures.
ReplyDeleteThey are great 3d printed figures, Joe.
DeleteThese look great Keith
ReplyDeleteThanks Scotty, I am pleased you like them.
DeleteReally liking these ladies. Lots of character and your colour schemes look very appropriate to the style and era I think.
ReplyDeleteCheers Dai. I had a bit of fun choosing what colours to use.
DeleteThey look superb! I could see me adding some of these to my wish list for the Silver Bayonet groups.
ReplyDeleteThanks Michael...easy enough for you to obtain from Battle Honours in the UK!
DeleteVery nicely done Keith, and very handy for games such as Sharp Practice.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lawrence, I will definitely have to try a work them into some scenario driven skirmish games!
DeleteVery nicely painted Keith. I am sure they could add some extra stiffening to the French line.
ReplyDeleteWell, their canteens are brimming with Calvados and Courvoisier, Ben!
DeleteThey are charming figures, I quite like what you've done with them. I was looking at the BH website recently and admiring them. So you order them and they come printed? Or are they STL files? Cheers, Michael
ReplyDeleteHi Michael - thanks for your comment. Yes, they arrive printed - you may get them with or without the "supports" that are part of the printing process - see this post for examples of how mine looked when they arrived - https://1808534.blogspot.com/2026/05/a-visit-to-ancient-greece-and-some-3d.html
DeleteVery nicely done Keith, good choice of colours, works really well. They are very nice figures and do look fine next to the Victrix lads.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Donnie. I think they look nice and they do work ok with the other 28mm figures!
DeleteIt has been a long time since your last batch of females. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jon, yes it's been a while!
DeleteNice work Keith I’m sure they’ll come in ?
ReplyDeleteCheers Matt! I feel there must be a word missing from your comment?
DeleteLovely figures, Keith! I didn't know about these figures; they'll spruce up any battlefield.
ReplyDeleteThank you Dean! That's the beauty of the 3d print "revolution "....there are thousands of new and unusual figures out there now!
DeleteSplendid figures and lovely painting!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thanks on both counts, Iain...I appreciate it!
DeleteVery nice. Think I'll have to get these to add to my collection, for the Retreat from Moscow, they'd make for great camp follows. Thanks for the heads up!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I nearly said that in my post Ray - but I guessed you were smart enough to figure it out - put some snow and ice on the basing, and hey, presto - they are all ready for the wind-blown Russian steppe!
DeleteLol.....which size are these 25 or 28's, not really sure how big Victrix are?
DeleteI would call them slim 28's Ray. I will put them next to some Perry plastics in my next post
DeleteGreat, thanks!
DeleteTop stuff Keith. Luverly lay-dees to doll out essential victuals!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes, James
Thanks James, glad you appreciate their contributions to the war efforts!
