AWI Collection - Box Four

Here is the final instalment of my AWI parade. For some reason, I have not recorded the identities of the various German Regiments composed of Foundry figures, although I am sure they are based on genuine units and uniforms I found online at the time.

Hessian Grenadier Regiment.....Foundry
Hessian commanders....Front Rank
Hessian Musketeer Regiment...Foundry
New York Loyalist Regiment....FR
Generic Loyalist Regiment.....FR
Gun limbers .. I have three but only photographed one...FR
Two Hessian gun crews....Foundry
A female gun crew...Eureka
A female battalion...Eureka


The latter two are not really part of the AWI collection but are definitely of a similar era...possibly intended for SYW etc...they are just a bit of fun!

      Thanks Jonathan. To be honest my main motivation for a parade was that I have painted so few new figures recently!

    Hahaha...sounds like a good plan Iain. Unfortunately they were photographed then returned to barracks last weekend. The good news is I am about to head out to my first game of 2020!

      Totally agree Lawrence...now that Mark has added a few more battalions of Brits to our combined total, a Sunday game may well be on the cards!

    Outstanding collection. Looking forward to seeing them all on the table in a grand battle.

    Has not seen the female artillery crew of infantry before. Very nice!
