A Second Batch of Extra Pikemen.....

This is the second batch of six extra pike men, one base of three for each of the two Danish WSS Regiments they have been added to - being the Livgarden til Fods (Foot Guards) and the Prins Georg infantry regiment.

First up the two additional stands


The Lifeguards in their straw yellow coats, faced in red


The Prins Georg Regt in light grey faced red


The Prins Georg Regiments as it is planned to appear


The Lifgarden til Fods ready for Beneath the Lilly Banners

Next up will be the command element of another Swedish Great Northern War regiment - this time Osterbotten.

      Thanks Lawrence - it is a VERY pale grey to be honest, in fact, its just white over a black basecoat, but it does look nice with the red I agree

      Thanks Iain, I do like the WSS uniforms I must admit - nice to have a bit of variety after all that Swedish blue (and yellow!)

    Great looking pikemen, Keith. They look cool in early 18th C. style uniforms while still having pikes; kind of a link between eras.

      Thank you Dean. I had not realised the pike survived into the eighteenth century until quite recently to be honest.

      Cheers Steve. I have rolled/folded my flags for many years now, it's a very simple technique that improves the look no end in my opinion.
