First up the two additional stands
The Lifeguards in their straw yellow coats, faced in red
The Prins Georg Regt in light grey faced red
The Prins Georg Regiments as it is planned to appear
The Lifgarden til Fods ready for Beneath the Lilly Banners
Next up will be the command element of another Swedish Great Northern War regiment - this time Osterbotten.
The lovely flow of those flags are adding a huge amount to the unit visuals - very nice.
ReplyDeleteCheers Norm, I like to try and give the flags a bit of movement
DeleteNice work as usual Keith, and the grey and red work very well together.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lawrence - it is a VERY pale grey to be honest, in fact, its just white over a black basecoat, but it does look nice with the red I agree
DeleteGreat work sir!
ReplyDeleteThank you Michal!
DeleteLovely, animated looking units and the grey and red works really well!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thanks Iain, I do like the WSS uniforms I must admit - nice to have a bit of variety after all that Swedish blue (and yellow!)
DeleteVery sharp looking work, Keith!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jon
DeleteGreat looking pikemen, Keith. They look cool in early 18th C. style uniforms while still having pikes; kind of a link between eras.
ReplyDeleteThank you Dean. I had not realised the pike survived into the eighteenth century until quite recently to be honest.
DeleteExcellent work on pikemen, Keith. Love the uniform color palettes.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dmitry, yes, red facings on a lighter coloured coat always look good don't they?
DeleteAbsolutely.
DeleteVery nice work once again Keith and a nice break from the blue and yellow. As others have said, the dynamic flags really add to the whole:)
ReplyDeleteCheers Steve. I have rolled/folded my flags for many years now, it's a very simple technique that improves the look no end in my opinion.
DeleteVery nice
ReplyDeleteThanks Neil
DeleteGood looking dudes! 😀
ReplyDeleteThank you Stew, the red is a nice change from yellow!
DeleteCrackin work Keith!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ray - a great endorsement coming from you!
