Next time, I may bore you with what I painted.....or not!
49 games is pretty good in my book! And it sure was a mixture of periods too. Think the Williamite games were my favs?
ReplyDeleteThanks Ray, I enjoyed getting those figures, and the GNW, out of their boxes, so BLB was up there for me, too!
DeleteBloody hell that’s one heck of a range of periods. Always something interesting to find on this blog. Keep on keeping on. Space Nazis next?
ReplyDeleteCheers JBM...as to Space Nazis, you never know....I did quite like the movie Iron Sky!
DeleteA lot of games and a lot of pictures of games, Keith! Can you pick a favorite?
ReplyDeleteThanks Jon...about half your total?!
DeleteAs to a favourite, I am not sure, but possibly the 28mm SCW or the Russo Polish game?
49 games is a great result , almost one per week , well done i imagine i'm on half that
ReplyDeleteCheers Bruce...less solo games, it would be closer to 30 I think!
DeleteExcellent. Plan to match or surpass that number this year?
ReplyDeleteThanks Greg. I have so many partially played solo campaigns, I am thinking maybe I do need to make some plans for 2024!
DeleteA very interesting spread of armies and periods, your friends make for a superb wargaming group, you are lucky to keep such good company. I think the Devil to Pay games have been my fave.
ReplyDeleteThanks Norm and yes, I am lucky to have friends with a wide range of armies and periods, plus two who have the room to host multi player games...long may it remain so!
DeleteYou have certainly had busy year of games Keith…
ReplyDeleteHere’s to many more in 2024…
All the best. Aly
"Many more in '24"......sounds like a campaign slogan, Aly!
DeleteLovely games Keith and an active year…hard to pick a favourite ? Probably the Napoleonics although I did enjoy the Border Reiver adventure π
ReplyDeleteThanks Matt....the Reivers campaign needs finishing off this year!
DeleteA lot of gaming Keith, and quite an assortment too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Richard, yes it was a good year for gaming, which is the whole point, after all!
DeleteWhat a lovely games sir!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michal - hope to see some of your lovely figures in a game this year maybe??
DeleteA nice round-up Keith. I remember most of these. A great assortment there.
ReplyDeleteCheers Lawrence, it was interesting to remind myself of all the games played!
Delete49 is a great number, and it's very cool that you have such a good group of gaming buddies near by. π
ReplyDeleteThanks Stew...they are waiting about one hours drive, which is very cool!
DeleteFantastic. A great post- showing a year's worth of gaming! Love the GNW!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for that John and glad you appreciated the GNW stuff!
DeleteLooks (literally) like an excellent hobby year, and no doubt about it (lots of games, and lots of eye candy!). The only downside will be to see if you can do as well in 2024 (a happy challenge).
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Ed! If I get my A into G and make a plan, I should be able to better this total easily - but that's not a promise or prediction for 2024!
Delete2023 was a great year for you Keith! I would be happy with a quarter of that π
ReplyDeleteCheers Ben - I am pretty happy myself with this total, to be fair!
DeleteWhat a pot pourri of games you had last year and I hadn't cottoned on that you'd played so many, as 49 games is pretty good going. So many to choose from, but I did like the Reivers campaign, probably because it's pretty recent and I can remember itππ!
ReplyDeleteThanks Steve - it was a pretty decent total, even if I do say so myself - I am glad you enjoyed the Ballade of Fair Lady Mary Bell - it has a couple of verses still to go, I feel!
DeleteHave great total of games played and quite a mix of periods. Favourites are the RCW and Border Reivers
ReplyDeleteCheers Scotty - they may have been my favourites too, although I did like the SCW ...... and the BLB games ...... actually, I liked most of 'em!
