Brigade Games "Pulp" Gun Molls

There was a total of ten figures (2 packs of 5) in the fairly recent arrival from Lon at Brigade Games, but I already painted one of them previously!

Listed in the "Mob Wars - Gangster Era" section of Brigade Games website as Gangster Dolls I and Gangster Dolls II, I am hoping to work them into some inter war Pulp action - at some point, in the dim and distant future!

Most of the photos are not the clearest I have ever done, but I can't be bothered going back and setting it all up again - sorry!

I think this one has a definite ring of "Peaky Blinders" about her?!

Probably going to be a PI's armed secretary - OR - a senior Nazi's PA!

And by way of something slightly different, my wife and I attended the wedding of our friends Russell and Jenae (who were last seen on our Rarotonga trip a few months ago) on Thursday. They were married in a venue near Te Awamutu, about 90 minutes south of where we live. As it is a second marriage for them both, it was quite a low-key affair with mainly family attending, just finger food after the ceremony and no dance etc - but at our age, that suited us fine!

The TreeChurch is a living chapel made of trees set in beautiful gardens. The Gardens also feature a labyrinth, perennial flower beds, ponds, doves and many stunning trees.

The TreeChurch and Gardens operate as a wedding and functions venue, as well as offering garden tours and open days. Two lovely accommodation rooms overlooking the gardens can also be booked.

Thanks for dropping in and extra special thanks to those who leave a comment behind!

  7. Some excellent additions there Keith, with the 3rd figure being my favourite, maybe because of the Peaky Blinders vibe. Let's hope this doesn't go into Spam and that I might even get notifications of replies, as currently the latter is not happening:(.

  8. Great looking figures Keith. Not sure they are proper gangsters as they are not holding their pistols on their side 😁
Fantastic place for a wedding. NZ seems to have lots of these delightful places. Very jealous.

  15. Love looking additions to your collection Keith…
The Tree Church is very unusual… I am quite surprised there aren’t more of them around.

    All the best. Aly.
