A few more figures have made it across the painting desk since the last post I did.
First up, a trio of Pulp Adventurers from Brigade Games
The Honourable Phryne Fisher of "Miss Fisher Investigates", perhaps?
Female Indiana Jones
Finding inspiration for the paint scheme was "fun" :)
This is the third figure - Indiana's partner, I guess?
Next, I have done another four of the Crusader Woodland Indians - musket armed and with some warpaint this time!
Thats it for today - a few more Indians are in progress at the moment. RCW/BoB game on Friday night at Julians place (last for 3-4 months as he is off to the UK to visit his daughter), then an "imaginations" 1920's Colonial NWF/Afghanistan game at Barrys on Sunday!
Beautiful ladies and Nativs!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Michal!
DeleteNicely done Keith
ReplyDeleteCheers Scotty, glad you like them!
ReplyDeleteFine figures there Keith:)! Some nice games in the offing and I hope the weather improves for Julian's visit, as it's rubbish at present:(.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed Steve - he is certainly leaving an "Indian Summer" behind him in NZ, at present!
DeleteWell we're forecast to get a rather nasty weather front coming through in mid-April, with snow in the forecast and lots of rain. Let's hope his arrival brings some nice weather instead!
DeleteBrrrrr...fingers crossed!
DeleteThe 'Back of Beyond' ladies are great!
ReplyDeleteThanks for that John!
DeleteSome nice photos Keith, not just the one of Scarlett either!
ReplyDeleteHahaha - cheers Ray!
DeleteThose figures look just like the images in the photos. Lovely work. I'm sure you are going to miss your Friday night games for the four months that Julian is away.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lawrence...and yes, my gaming count is going to take quite a hit unfortunately 😕
DeleteExcellent painting on those character figs, Keith. The lady figs are a perfect rendition of their actual counterparts.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean - just did one of my intermittent "Spam Sweeps" and found this comment, plus one from Matt - in there - weird!
DeleteNice work, the pulp style ones work really well and the indians look great in their warpaint.
ReplyDeleteCheers Donie!
DeleteYour lady adventurers look terrific.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jon,they are very nice sculpts!
DeleteAnother fine butterfly collection of new toys Keith…
ReplyDeleteSurely it’s Lindiana Jones 😁
All the best. Aly
Great name, Aly...I could not really think of a way to feminise Indiana as it already sounds like a girl's name to me!
DeleteNow come on, Indiana was the dog's name. Great looking take on the Phrynie figure. I have yet to tackle the Pulp version, which has her with motorcycle and dog featured.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joe, and yes, I have seen that Pulp Miniatures figure...she might be on my to do list at some point!
DeleteNice variety of miniatures. I’m sure female Indiana and angry natives can find themselves together some how. 😀
ReplyDeleteI like your creative thinking there, Stew!
DeleteGreat looking figures Keith.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ben.
DeleteI love the variety that you produce, such a great way to keep the painting mojo going.
ReplyDeleteA nice way to look at it Michael...others might call it lack of, or inability to, focus!
DeleteIntrepid adventurers and the red face paint works very well.
ReplyDeleteCheers,Norm....I particularly like the effect of the red face paint too!
DeleteLooking good Keith.
ReplyDeleteThanks Richard 👍
DeleteLovely looking warriors and pulp females!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thanks a lot Iain!
DeleteNicely done and those games sound like they'll be fun.
ReplyDeleteCheers Bill....first one starts in a couple of hours, if all goes according to plan 😀
DeleteLovely figures! But I must say, the promise of the 1920s NWF game did distract!
ReplyDeleteDon't get TOO excited Ed.....it will be a kinda imaginations affair....we do not have ACTUAL 1920'S style European figures...
DeleteNicely done Keith the obsession with adventurous women continues !
ReplyDeleteThanks Matt - just did one of my intermittent "Spam Sweeps" and found this comment, plus one from Dean - in there - weird!
