The latest recruits to march off the painting desk are another group of Tovarishchi, including a couple more converted drugarica (female comrades according to Google :))
With a command base (previously seen)
The new additions
The first conversion
The second conversion
Also finally completed is the HMG support for the Japanese contingent
Not sure the crewman is on the right side of the weapon but hey ho - its Pulp !
The next dozen Tsuba figures painted as Warlord Chines are complete but I will save them for another post!
More great looking soldiers sir!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like them Michal!
DeleteLove the diversity and the paintjob on the Tovarishchi...excellent!
ReplyDeleteThank you Phil appreciate your comments
DeleteLovely work
ReplyDeleteCheers Scotty
DeleteGreat work, the conversions do the trick, brush work first class. Looking forward to seeing these troops in action. As for the Japanese MG crew, yeah, it's Pulp and they look good!
ReplyDeleteThanks Joe - I hope you will get to see them in use in the not too distant future!
DeleteThe mix of quiet background tones and the splashes of colour make for really eye-catching bases.
ReplyDeleteThank you Norm, I do like the simplicity of the great coated Copplestone figures.
DeleteNice work Keith and the conversions fit in nicely 👍
ReplyDeleteThanks Matt I am happy with them too!
DeletePosts coming thick and fast, sorry I've been busy at work,so I can't keep up! Loving all your bolsheviks, it's a really tempting period, the Japanese look great too,I suppose with lockdown you've got a bit more time to paint?
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Are you like Stew Iain, checking your Blog at work?! I am actually answering these three latest comments at my desk as it happens. I dont really have any extra time as I am at work M-F as normal - although we are pretty much restricted to the house at the weekends so I suppose that may help the painting a bit!
DeleteNice! I especially like the Japanese crewed weapon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jon - I see that I have painted the gunners hat peak khaki when all the others are black - must go back and fix that up!
DeleteYour PULP FICTION Project is coming along very nicely- looking forward to further developments. Stay well there in NZ. Regards. KEV.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kev - stay tuned, more developments are imminent!
DeleteYour certainly cranking out the miniatures now! Nice job. 😀
ReplyDeleteThanks Stew - still plenty more to go - particularly if my Brigade Games order EVER turns up - I am starting to doubt it will do, to be honest, which is a bummer.....
DeleteThese look marvellous Keith. Great character and wonderful variety.
ReplyDeleteRegards, James
Thanks James - it is a very nice period - perhaps thats why I am also attracted to the Pulp era?
DeleteThose are cracking Keith!!!
ReplyDeleteCheers Steve - Copplestone are great figures, which certainly helps!
DeleteGreat work again Keith. The flag also came out really well.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lawrence - I know you have had flag issues of your own - mine are simple, I just Google Bolshevik Flags or RCW Flags etc then use Paint and the colour printer at work to do the rest!
DeleteGreat work. Tovarishchi are especially good;)
ReplyDeleteSpasiba Dmitry!
