Ooooooohh.......A Shiny Thing!

Another day, another brief post - my SCW reinforcements from Jorge at Panzer Garage in Spain have been delivered - and very nice they look too!

These are extra units I was unable to complete using the Minairons or other ranges.

(As an aside, does anyone in the UK know if Rolf at RH/Liberation Models is still operating? He has some Bandaras 20mm SCW figures listed on his site, and I have emailed him a couple of times but with no success. This is strange as I bought a fair bit of stuff off him a few years back - 20mm Iraq/Afghanistan combatants for both sides....)

So back to the show and tell, here are a few images.

The packs are - LG (The Legion) and - GC (Civil Guards). SCW3 are five extra militiamen.

Here are the Civil Guard figures with a partially painted Irregular Miniatures CG Officer - not sure if the uniform colour is quite right?

And this is the contents of one of the Legion Command packs. I got two of each Legion pack, with the original intention of painting half up as Republican regulars, as the uniforms on both sides were reasonably interchangeable in appearance - fore and aft caps, webbing equipment etc - just the colours define which side they are on! Not sure if I will still do this or not.....

Here is a link to the site, if anyone is in the market for 20mm WWII or SCW stuff

And from the site, painted examples of the Legion command pack as per above:

Thanks for visiting and an extra big THANKYOU for leaving a comment!

  2. Two of your civil guard seem to be holding hands - which is nice. Will the unit flag be a rainbow one? lol.

  6. Always wonderful for the postman to bring stuff to the house. Nice additions to your collection, and a great link as well as the Show & Tell. Thanks. BTW, go with the sharing of regular castings told off by color.

  16. Good to see you received your order. The last time I had anxiety waiting for an order was an ebay purchase of a guitar from China. Only took 4 weeks but I was stressing.
