I had a few extra Cromarty Forge 10mm Roman Cavalry figures left over, so painted them up as scouts/messengers, on individual bases, including a Decurion (cavalry equivalent of a Centurion, more or less)
A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my visitors, thanks for all your comments and support over the last twelve months!
Our Christmas tree, with an all-silver theme!
Merry Christmas and the Happy New Year sir!
ReplyDeleteThank you Michal!
DeleteThe 10mm are really standing up well to ‘camera scrutiny’, not always an easy thing at this scale. Nice Job. Best Wishes for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteCheers Norm, I have been happily surprised that I have been able to do a reasonable job on these little guys!
DeleteKeith, Merry Christmas. The tree and troops look great. Such good work on such tiny figures, well done. The new year should have some AAR'S on this new project.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Joe - Hope you are right re the AAR's in 2025!
DeleteNice work on the cavalry Keith and a Merry Christmas 🙂
ReplyDeleteCheers on both counts, Matt, and same to you!
DeleteMore lovely work on the 10mm Romans the officer is a cracking looking figure. All the best for the festivities when they arrive Keith.
ReplyDeleteThanks Donnie! Best wishes for the festive season to you, too.

DeleteYour 10mm Romans and Barbarians are an absolute delight to look at Keith.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas.
Thanks Richard, Merry Christmas to you too!
DeleteExcellent work as always Keith! I can't imagine have Xmas decorations up in mid-Summer, but I suppose you've got used to it by now? Merry Xmas to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteThanks Steve..it is all a bit odd...for example, taking young children out to look at Christmas lights....it's not dark enough for them to be effective till about 9pm, which is too late if they are really young! When I was about that age, it was dark enough in Montrose (NE Scotland) to see lit up trees in people's windows on the way home from school!
DeleteLovely work as usual Keith, and Merry Christmas to you too.
ReplyDeleteCheers Lawrence...the next batch have now reached NZ Customs, having left the supplier on 18 Dec....bit slow but I am not that surprised...hopefully they arrive before 2025!
DeleteGreat idea for the surplus figures Keith. Gets them out of the unpainted pile.
ReplyDeleteLovely tree and I hope you and your family have a great Christmas.
Thanks Ben - that was what I thought, too! Best wishes for the festive season to you and yours as well.
DeleteLovely odds and sods, Keith. Have a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous and happy New Year!
