A Very Merry Christmas!

Given it's only a couple of days away, I thought a Christmas wishes post was in order, so here it is!

Minimalist "Silver Only" Christmas Tree!

The Dining Room table has looked like this for about a month

Entrance hallway table also decorated

I cant take any credit for the festive appearance of the house, my daughter did the tree, and the rest is courtesy of she who must be obeyed

Following are a few odds and sods that have seen some painting desk time recently, or have been done for ages but just never posted so far

First up are the last two of the Brigade Games "Swashbuckling" girls

They did not quite look a match for the Three Musketeers themed idea, so I will keep these two seperate

They have been painted up as representatives of the Republican Marianne

I hope one day, they will have the chance to make a cameo appearance in a Revolutionary War game, such is in the Vendee etc....perhaps in pursuit of fleeing aristocrats?

This figure is one of the 3D prints my kids bought for me LAST Christmas - so at least she has been completed within the year

Some of the detail was a bit rough but I still think its a pretty nice figure

Finally, an addition to the Turkish Pulp force - a mysterious, Ninja-like Middle Eastern warrior

Thats it for today - hopefully I will have something wargame related to post after the big day - although we are doing single present secret Santa (with requests) this year, so its likely to be one thing - but hopefully something I "hinted" at!

I wish you all a vet merry and peaceful Christmas with your family and friends.

  8. Merry Christmas - some very nice figures there! What range is the 3D print from - looks like could be a nice range based on the figure.

    1. I can't tell you the range unfortunately Rob. They were produced locally (in Christchurch) and sold on our local version of eBay, but I assume done under license from the designer. There are some nice figures amongst them. Hope you have a great Christmas.

    1. Cheers Norm, and as we have an agreed value for the gift, I will be pretty annoyed if it's forty pairs of socks! Merry Christmas to you too.

  12. Nice figures Keith, and Merry Christmas. The Christmas stuff started appearing around our house over a month ago and I had a day trip to Melbourne yesterday and returned to a similar scene with the Christmas table set and ready to go. Have a great one.

The mini's look great and like you I stand back and let the family do the Christmas decoration. Looks much better when they do it 😊
I help by carrying boxes up and down the stairs.

  14. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year Keith! The FRW figures look great and the red, white and blue colours work a treat.

Not sure if Santa will bring me anything as one present wont arrive as it's not been released yet and the postal strikes have played havoc with deliveries. Still first World problems and all that!

  17. Great bunch of pulp figures Keith. Your tree is more spectacular than ours…I was too lazy to put the baubles on and just put the lights on it. I did, however, put the outside lights up.

    1. Thanks Mark. We don't have outside lights...haven't had for about a decade....and no one else in our street does either, although a nearby one has every house done up, it looks pretty cool. Have a good one!
