Dismounted Kradschützen Truppen Part 1

Today's presentation is the first batch of the Crusader WWII Germans who will represent the motorcycle troops when they have stopped posing on their BMW's and got off to do some actual fighting!

Very nice figures, as is always the case with Crusader, and reasonable value at £7 for four.

Before I realised what I was doing, I put these all on individual bases! I think they will still work fine for any Blitzkrieg games, and it also gives them the flexibility to get involved in some of my Pulp games at a later stage, if the fancy should take me!

The second batch of seven are nearing completion on the painting desk too.

  2. They look very nice Keith and I always had a soft spot for Crusader when I played with 28mm figures. Nice mix of poses and the chaps with rolled up sleeves add a nice touch of variety too.

  3. Great looking troops, Keith. So, their motto wasn't, "Death Before Dismount" 😀

  4. Very nice Keith…
At least you don’t need to have the equivalent of a horse holder with these ‘dragoons’…

    All the best. Aly

    1. Cheers Stu....not 100% sure the wehrmacht ever actually wore this combination in combat but it seems to be an accepted wargamers convention and as you say it looks good!
