Today's presentation is the first batch of the Crusader WWII Germans who will represent the motorcycle troops when they have stopped posing on their BMW's and got off to do some actual fighting!
Very nice figures, as is always the case with Crusader, and reasonable value at £7 for four.
Before I realised what I was doing, I put these all on individual bases! I think they will still work fine for any Blitzkrieg games, and it also gives them the flexibility to get involved in some of my Pulp games at a later stage, if the fancy should take me!
The second batch of seven are nearing completion on the painting desk too.
Looking good, Keith!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jon!
DeleteWW2 and Pulp. What could go wrong ?
ReplyDeleteNot a lot, Joe - perfect combination I would say!
DeleteFanfastic work!
ReplyDeleteThank you Michal!
DeleteThey look very nice Keith and I always had a soft spot for Crusader when I played with 28mm figures. Nice mix of poses and the chaps with rolled up sleeves add a nice touch of variety too.
ReplyDeleteThanks, and yes, they are very nice figures Steve.
DeleteGreat looking troops, Keith. So, their motto wasn't, "Death Before Dismount" 😀
ReplyDeleteHaha - it would seem not, Dean!
DeleteVery nice Keith…
ReplyDeleteAt least you don’t need to have the equivalent of a horse holder with these ‘dragoons’…
All the best. Aly
Very true Aly!

DeleteNicely done Keith they can now jump off those bikes !
ReplyDeleteThat's the plan Matt!
DeleteLovely work Keith. This has turned into quite a collection.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lawrence, I think it is close to completion now, barring additional vehicles or artillery being added
DeleteThose look great, trouser and tunic combo look great.
ReplyDeleteCheers Stu....not 100% sure the wehrmacht ever actually wore this combination in combat but it seems to be an accepted wargamers convention and as you say it looks good!
DeleteNice troops! The poses are very cool.
ReplyDeleteThanks John and yes, they are great figures!
DeleteGreat looking dismounted bikers!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
