Dismounted Kradschützen Truppen Part 3

Barring one LMG team and two ATR teams, these are the last of the Crusader German infantry. The rest are basically done too, just the basing to finish off - but that gives me something to post in a couple of days' time!

Finally, and by way of a small change, here is a 3D printed figure of Archduke Charles of Austria for my Napoleonic collection.

I also have three mounted senior officers in the same range on the painting desk at present and I am considering getting a few more of the 3D Napoleonic offerings from JJG in the new year!

Next update will be post-Christmas but before the New Year.

  2. I do like these clean and well animated German sculpts, together with those uniform shades look superb. The Charles figure is lovely with its well thought out support for under the front of the horse. Best Wishes for Christmas.

    1. Thanks Norm, I agree with you about the Crusader sculpting, it's some if the best in my opinion! Also think it's a good idea to have that support under the 3d horse! I hope you have a good Christmas too!

  3. More lovey work on those Germans Keith! Charlie looks superb and love the pose, rather like one would see in an 18thC or 19thC painting. Have a great Xmas and hope you get this in time rather than it disappearing into the Spam folder!

  4. Nicely done Keith, is the Archduke figure tough enough for the rigours of battle ?

The more I see of these Crusader early war Germans the more I am tempted to get some myself…
