Heyo, ...... Pulpo Italiano.....

Ok I am sure that's not real but got your attention didn't it?

Here are the first few of the Perry WWII Italians, for use in my nefarious 1930's Pulp imaginings (if they ever actually become a reality!)

Nice figures but more of a challenge to paint that the very clear and crisp style of the Pulp Figures ranges....

A few of the Crusader French will be next off the desk...

Two officers and three NCO's from the command pack

A white coated "Tenente" with Beretta pistol

Il Capitano

Kneeling NCO

Advancing with SMG

Standing NCO

Il Capitano and a She Wolves Unteroffizierin for a scale comparison.

  8. Does sound a bit "Mambo Italiano"/bossa nova, now that you mention it. I have experienced the switch from painting Copplestone sculpts to Perrys of which you speak: it is quite a shift.

    1. Lol yes Ed! There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Perry sculpting and I could not do it if my life depended on it, but "the best sculptors who ever lived"...? I don't think so!

    1. Cheers Lawrence! One of my local gaming mates just suggested we should enjoy the "festive truce" with our family....a phrase that seems particularly apposite as the arrival of my mother and brother in law looms! (She is ok, he is a bit of a prat sometimes...you just never know which version will turn up.....!)
