Another Pair of British Hussars

As mentioned yesterday, the guidon bearer and escort were completed last night and will be today's post.

I do hope no one is getting fed up of being fed bite sized pieces - I know in normal times, we usually wait and only post a completed unit, but frequent visits to my blog during the lock down are part of my coping strategy!

The guidon is a bit of a cheat - it is a British Napoleonic Hussar one, but for the 10th Hussars I think - as the 10th seem to have worn exactly the same uniform as the 15th, I decided their guidon was probably very similar! As it turns out, the 10th were brigaded with the 15th and another Hussar Regiment (the 18th perhaps?), so I am going to end up having to paint the same uniform all over again...if I create this brigade of three Hussar regiments.

    1. Thanks Stu....yes just exchanging comments with a neighbour...keeping over 2m distance of course...while we are both walking our dogs...we agreed we will find it hard to go back to normal work, once the lock down is over...whenever that ends up being!
